First I Was A Murderer, Then I Was A Saint. Now I Live On Stolen Time. Twist And Run Like Paint.

Essentially a one off side project for Robert Smith of The Cure and Siouxise & The Banshees bassist Steve Severin, The Glove released a fairly stellar debut album that to this day sounds fresh and inviting. While on tour with the Banshees as a back up guitarist, Smith and Severin spent time after shows messing around with a variety of psychedelic soundscapes and 60's cult imagery. The end result was Blue Sunshine, a quirky album laced with a mix of straightforward pop and beat heavy tracks. Recruiting dancer Jeanette Landray to sing on all but 5 songs, The Glove eventually fizzled out once The Cure hit the Top 10 with their single The Lovecats. For your listening (dis)pleasure:
