Bravery vs. Bribery

From www.popbitch.com:

"The Bravery are the latest New York music press darlings, but in the industry in the States they are regarded somewhat differently. They're known to all as "The Bribery", as the band was as manufactured as N Sync, put together by Polydor on the back of the success of The Killers.
(As we've reported before Sam, the singer, was a blond dreadlocked performer in an NYC ska band, until the stylist sorted him out with a quiff and rock star clothes.)"

The Bravery - Swollen Summer
The Bravery - Honest Mistake (Acoustic)

(via Me You, We Two )

I dunno, anyone else think that critique was a little harsh? I still totally prefer The Killers but have been digging some Bravery tracks for a couple of months now.

Well then, let's compare & contrast:

The Killers - Desperate
The Killers - Andy Youre A Star.mp3
The Killers - Midnight Show.mp3

Anyone? Bueller? Frye?
